The B2B Side: Mystery Boxes for Gift Baskets, Raffles, and Office Events

Not everyone opening our boxes is a shopper or a reseller. A quiet slice of mystery box buyers are small operators who need assorted stuff in bulk — and an overstock box is exactly that.

Gift basket makers

Baskets need filler variety: gadgets, beauty items, home goods, small toys. Buying that assortment retail destroys the margin on a $60 basket. A mystery box delivers a spread of new items at a fraction of retail — sort the pulls into basket themes and the economics suddenly work.

Raffle and prize organizers

School fundraisers, church events, trivia nights: they all need a prize table that looks abundant on a small budget. One tier-three box can stock an entire table with individually decent prizes — and a sealed mystery box itself makes a legendary grand prize. (Check your local raffle regulations; that part's on you.)

Office and event planners

White elephant pools, spirit-week prizes, onboarding desk gifts. Assorted, unopened, inexpensive — the exact brief an overstock assortment fills. Order a box, wrap the contents individually, done.

Why the honesty policies matter double here

When you're distributing items to other people, disclosed condition standards stop being fine print and become your reputation. New overstock and shelf pulls (our Starter/Standard grades) hand out clean; that's why the condition line is printed on every tier before you buy.

Ordering for events

Count heads, divide by roughly 8–12 items per box depending on tier, and order with a week's buffer. The tier card's estimated retail range tells you what the prize table will feel like — honestly, as always.
